Kermit’s Hot Dog Shindig

NEWS FLASH!! Kermit’s Hot Dog Shindig is having a new twist. April 20, is the opening date for Bowman Gray, so we are having a BOWMAN GRAY OPENING DAY PARTY AT KERMITS. Old cars, food, music, and a gathering of old friends. All Southsiders and others are invited. Music will be live-streamed with WTOB. This is BIG, so spread the word. Nothing better than a good hot dog with fries and a drink to fill your bellies before the race. NOON TO 5 pm. APRIL, 20.

The 4th Annual Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023 at Bermuda Run Country Club East Course.

What’s Happening this Weekend!

Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park

The annual Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park, 2147 Bethabara Road, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26. The event will feature foods made with apples, craft vendor market, live music, colonial demonstrations and tours of the park’s apple orchard.

There also will be such food trucks as Kona Ice, Wutyasay, Homeslice Pizza and PorterHouse Burger. Other food vendors will include Bethabara Moravian Church for barbecue and Mrs. Pumpkin’s Bakery & Deli.

10th Annual Ridin’ Hawg Wild motorcycle ride – Sammy’s Ride!

Join us for our 10th Annual Ride on April 28th, 2018! Our Poker Run is a fun-filled day with so many wonderful people joining us year after year.   • Registration starts at 9am and ends at 11am
  • Ride leaves at 11:15am
