Big-Time Tennis Served Southern Style at the Winston-Salem
August means tennis in the Twin City.  The Winston-Salem Open will take place August 18-24 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex adjacent to BB&T Field.
A number of fan favorites have committed to compete in Winston-Salem, including Tommy Haas, Sam Querrey, James Blake, Gael Monfils and Tommy Robredo and the Triad’s home-grown favorite (and two-time winner of the Winston-Salem Open), John Isner.
Here’s something pretty incredible about this year’s tournament:  Thirty-nine of the players slated to compete are all ranked in the top 75 in the world, and nine of the players are ranked among the ATP top 30.  Also, nine of the players coming to the Winston-Salem Open have been ranked in the top 10 during their careers.
And why do they continue to return to Winston-Salem? That’s a no-brainer; it’s the human touch that’s key, as in, Incredible hospitality, fan support and volunteers.
