There is an informative Web site that is dedicated to the festivals in North Carolina http://festivalsandevents.com/festival.php?state=NC and have a ball plowing through it, finding all the festivals you might want to explore. Follow the other links to festivals just across the border in Virginia. All are worth a quick day trip in this warm season

The 9th Annual Master’s Day Golf Classic will be tee off at 9:00am on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Maple Chase Golf & Country Club and conclude on Friday afternoon with an awards presentation. Participation in this tournament will benefit Camp Hope. Camp Hope gives under-resourced kids in our community the opportunity to attend summer camp. Camp Hope is designed to build self worth, character, and a Christ centered faith in the lives of kids.
The children who attend this camp are victims of abuse and most often live in foster homes. Through this one week, children’s lives can be changed forever by seeing that a positive experience with a loving adult role model is possible, that they can succeed, and experiencing a week of relief from their current situation and experience care, love, and encouragement.
Proceeds: Camp Hope – a camp designed for under resourced and abused children in our community.
