Raise the Woof fundraiser

This event raises funds for four different non-profit this is a family event and will include food, vendors yes, and a DJ. 60 + people have entered a dog house building contest and the public is invited to vote on them. Please come out and support us for this fun worthwhile event. Check out our website.  Saturday is when the public is invited to vote on the dog houses. These are NOT your average dog houses. They are custom, handmade and one of a kind.
Come out Saturday, Feb. 24, to the High Point University Community Center from 3 to 6 p.m.  There will be plenty of food, music, and raffle prizes, as well as the High Point Pink Fire Truck and animals looking for their forever homes.  All proceeds go to NC K-9 Officer Retirement Fund, Davidson County Animal Alliance, GOFAR of the Triad and Backpack Beginnings: http://raisethewooffundraiser.weebly.com/

2018 KIWANIS PANCAKE JAMBOREE SET FOR FRIDAY, FEB. 23

The Twin City Kiwanis Club will host its 60th Pancake Jamboree on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the M.C. Benton Convention Center, 301 West Fifth Street, in downtown Winston-Salem.

Club members will be serving “all you can eat” pancakes and Neese’s sausage continuously. Tickets–available at the door or in advance from club members–are $8 for adults, $4 for children under 13. The meal includes a choice of beverage. Take-out boxes will be available.
All proceeds will benefit nonprofit youth organizations in the greater Winston-Salem area and one in Vietnam. The Jamboree is one of the longest running annual events in the city and the club’s only fundraiser.
