The Twin City Kiwanis Club will host its 63rd Pancake Jamboree on February 21, 2020, at the M.C. Benton Convention Center, 301 West Fifth Street, in downtown Winston-Salem. Club members will be serving “all you can eat” pancakes and Neese’s sausage continuously. Tickets–available at the door or in advance from club members–are $8 for adults, $4 for children under 13. The meal includes a choice of beverage. Take-out boxes will be available. All proceeds will benefit nonprofit youth organizations in the greater Winston-Salem area and one in Vietnam. The Jamboree is one of the longest-running annual events in the city and the club’s only fundraiser.

The Roy’s Folks Crafts Fair will be held on November 22-23, 2019. A crafts show featuring more than 100 folks we high-lite on Roy’s Folks each week.
The annual fair will be held in the High Point University Community Center (formerly Oak Hollow Mall) on November 22 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and November 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. $3.00 adults, $2.00 seniors – Proceeds from admission benefit FOX8 Gifts for Kids.
The annual Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park, 2147 Bethabara Road, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26. The event will feature foods made with apples, craft vendor market, live music, colonial demonstrations and tours of the park’s apple orchard.
There also will be such food trucks as Kona Ice, Wutyasay, Homeslice Pizza and PorterHouse Burger. Other food vendors will include Bethabara Moravian Church for barbecue and Mrs. Pumpkin’s Bakery & Deli.

They will also have lots of Silent Auction items and Raffles going on. One will be the last drawing Scott Ray did to help raise money for Tony Dukes I will have the 16″x 20″ Drawing on canvas of Jax Teller (actor Charlie Hunnam) Sons Of Anarchy.

Path of Hope is holding their Fifth Annual Motorcycle Ride for Recovery. Please join us on Saturday, August 5, 2017, for food, fellowship, and motorcycles! We will meet at Path of Hope and make a round trip ride to Dan Nicholas Park. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided for participants. The first 150 registrants also receive a FREE Path of Hope ride t-shirt.

Mount Carmel UMC of Winston-Salem will be having a Service of Remembrance of the 15th Anniversary of the Attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon & Appreciation Luncheon for our Men and Women in Service.
Sunday, September 11, 2016 10:30am – 12:30pm Chaplain (LTC) Ret. Dr. A Steven Turner will be our guest speaker. A special choral tribute for our nation will be featured along with an appreciation luncheon will follow the service at noon for all of our military, police, and emergency and fire department and all other public servants.
