Music will start with Dani Kerr at 1:00pm followed by CMA Artist Rockie Lynne. Rockie is a National CMA artist that has performed at national events all over the U.S. Just recently at the Veterans Homecoming at Daytona International Speedway.

Encourage your Paster Bus Tour-Summer 2022

Energize is excited to announce the launch of our summer 2022 Encourage Your Pastor VBS Bus Tour. The Bible tells us that a little child shall lead them. How do we influence the environment of care and prayer for our church leadership? It starts with our children. They are our future leaders and they are not too young to learn how God can use them now to support and encourage their pastors and ministry leaders. You are never too young to be a blessing and serve the Lord! They can #Betheone! 

We’re offering to make a special appearance at your VBS, hand out coloring sheets for the kids who want to write a note or prayer of encouragement to their pastors and leaders, give them a tour of the Energize bus, and leave a gift bag for your pastor(s). We are super excited to offer this brief visits at no cost! There’s no catch, just a fun and encouraging way to share with your kids and add a unique experience to your VBS! – We’ll be scheduling stops all summer across VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, and AL!

Update – Cannon’s Ride – Memorial Ride and Fundraiser

UPDATED!! DUE TO THE CHANCE OF RAIN, WE HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE THIS TO THE RAIN DATE OF SUNDAY 8-30.. TIME SLOT WILL REMAIN THE SAME!!! WE HAVE MADE A CHANGE TO THE STOPS. THEY WILL BE DD’s, OLE WATERING HOLE AND LIL CEDAR. WE PLAN TO ARRIVE BACK AROUND 4 OR A LIL AFTER FOUR THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN’T RIDE. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS CAUSE

Cannon Hinnant was 5 years old when his life was cut short by being shot in the head. This was a personal loss to the organization as Cannon’s great grandfather is a member of Guardians of the Children Winston-Salem. We asked Cannon’s mom if we could host a ride in his memory and raise funds for anything that his siblings left behind may need.

Pancake Day Jamboree

The Twin City Kiwanis Club will host its 63rd Pancake Jamboree on February 21, 2020, at the M.C. Benton Convention Center, 301 West Fifth Street, in downtown Winston-Salem.
Club members will be serving “all you can eat” pancakes and Neese’s sausage continuously. Tickets–available at the door or in advance from club members–are $8 for adults, $4 for children under 13. The meal includes a choice of beverage. Take-out boxes will be available.
All proceeds will benefit nonprofit youth organizations in the greater Winston-Salem area and one in Vietnam. The Jamboree is one of the longest-running annual events in the city and the club’s only fundraiser.

Roy’s Folks Crafts Fair with Chad Tucker

The Roy’s Folks Crafts Fair will be held on November 22-23, 2019. A crafts show featuring more than 100 folks we high-lite on Roy’s Folks each week.

The annual fair will be held in the High Point University Community Center (formerly Oak Hollow Mall) on November 22 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and November 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
$3.00 adults, $2.00 seniors – Proceeds from admission benefit FOX8 Gifts for Kids.

What’s Happening this Weekend!

Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park

The annual Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park, 2147 Bethabara Road, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26. The event will feature foods made with apples, craft vendor market, live music, colonial demonstrations and tours of the park’s apple orchard.

There also will be such food trucks as Kona Ice, Wutyasay, Homeslice Pizza and PorterHouse Burger. Other food vendors will include Bethabara Moravian Church for barbecue and Mrs. Pumpkin’s Bakery & Deli.

Dukes Motorcycle Rally

Okay, everybody, the weather is looking great. Mostly sunny; delightful 72° for this weekend! We want everyone that rides a motorcycle to come out to the Dukes Motorcycle Rally for my friend Tony Dukes!

Tony Dukes has been battling cancer for a while now. We all feel the time has come for everyone to come together not just for the typical benefit ride so let’s make this thing a RALLY!!!! The ride begins at

• Judy’s Place Too. Kickstands up at 1:00.
• First stop is Ole Watering Hole.
• The second stop is Baggerz.
• The ride ends at Ted’s.
• The Essick Tuttle Outfit will be playing at Ted’s.
• We will have a raffle, 50/50 drawing, poker hands for the ride.

They will also have lots of Silent Auction items and Raffles going on. One will be the last drawing Scott Ray did to help raise money for Tony Dukes I will have the 16″x 20″ Drawing on canvas of Jax Teller (actor Charlie Hunnam) Sons Of Anarchy.
