2nd Annual Camel City BikeFest Update!

Where you going to be at? Here’s Where we will be. 700 North Liberty Street, Winston-Salem, NC If you want to ride in with a big group to Camel City Bikefest, the Forgotten Sons MC are doing a ride in again this year with the proceeds going to Purple Heart Homes! I have to tell you it gave me chills last year to hear all those bikes rolling in at one time rattling the windows of all those buildings downtown. Let’s make it even bigger and better this year!!

Camel City Bikefest presented by Smokin Harley Davidson is right around the corner on Saturday, Sept.9th! So much going on this year that you are not going to want to miss!!

Radical Randy is back with his Battle of the Baggers bike and sound show, the Ted’s Kickin Chicken stage has bands rocking all day, and Irvin Roberts Salon and Ardmore Barber Shop are bringing you the Miss Camel City Bikefest Pinup Contest and a Beard Competition for the fellas, and this year we have our friends from Tattoo Therapy setting up to do tattoos in the Liberty Room at Camel City BBQ Factory.

Scott Ray (Ray Publishing) will be doing event pictures and will be doing pictures of you and your friends around Back Yard Baggers tent. $12 8×10 with 50% of money raised will be going to Flood victims in Texas (#SamaritansPurse)

Let’s not forget our vendors, food trucks, and some of your favorite watering holes that will be set up with adult beverages. Bikes, Babes, Beards, Bands, and Beer…what more could you want??

Path of Hope is holding their Fifth Annual Motorcycle Ride for Recovery. Please join us on Saturday, August 5, 2017, for food, fellowship, and motorcycles! We will meet at Path of Hope and make a round trip ride to Dan Nicholas Park. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided for participants. The first 150 registrants also receive a FREE Path of Hope ride t-shirt.

The Wounded Ride to Benefit the Purple Heart Homes Foundation.

Forever Two Wheels is inviting you to ride in this years For The Wounded Ride to benefit the Purple Heart Homes Foundation. The ride is June 10th starting at Smokin’ Harley Davidson in Winston-Salem. Tell your friends and brothers and sisters who ride.

  • Registration begins at 9:00
  • Kick Stands up 11:00-11:30.
  • $20 Per Bike $10 For Passenger
  • The ride will end up at Double D’s Burnout Saloon with food and entertainment.
  • Come out and support Purple Heart Homes, a nonprofit founded by Veterans for Veterans, which has the singular mission of making life easier for Service Connected Disabled Veterans by modifying, adapting, or building on existing homes to ensure greater mobility and comfort.
  • Big thanks to David and his crew for hosting this ride and having us to end up at Double D’s where they know how to throw an after party!

Spring Ride and Play for Veterans

When: Saturday April 8, 2017
Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm
Kickstands Up at 10:00am

Come celebrate Spring and honor our veterans and their life changing service dogs!

We will have a motorcycle ride through scenic Davidson county with kickstands up at 10am. Cost is $10 a motorcycle.

There will be food, games and a 50/50 Raffle. Lots of prizes from our sponsors too! We already have (2) family passes to Kaleideum and (2) Day passes to US National Whitewater Center as raffle prizes. Stay tuned for more!

Hot dogs will be on the menu courtesy of Cardinal Wings. Gunny Smitty’s will be on site selling his famous Kettle Corn and Fresh Lemonade!!!!

Big Bikes for Purple Hearts “Honor Ride”

Please save the date. Big Bike for Purple Hearts will be departing from Post 55 on June 4th. Registration starts at 9am. Kick Stands Up at 11:30. purpleheartsride

Help us support our Purple Heart Vets. Last year was a huge success. Please spread the word and come out and make this year even better. We will end this year at Triad Field of Honor. Food, Fun, Music and Honor!
