YMCA 25th Golf to Give Back Tournament

The Y’s Annual Golf to Give Back Tournament directly benefits programs at the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina that help strengthen our communities. 

Held at Bermuda Run Country Club, this annual tournament has become a well-anticipated tradition at the Y for a quarter of a century. Golfers, both experienced and new to the game, are able to spend a day on the course for fellowship, friendly competition, and most importantly, fundraising for a good cause. 

In 2021, the 25th Annual Golf to Give Back Tournament raised over $26,000! In this year’s tournament, we hope to do even better. So mark your calendars for Monday, October 3!

Gather your team for a day of golf, fun, and fellowship for a good cause! The 25th Annual YMCA of Northwest North Carolina Golf Tournament returns Monday, October 25, at the Bermuda Run Golf Course.

FORMAT: Tournament will begin as a 2-day individual stroke play event.

The 9th Annual Master’s Day Golf Classic will be tee off at 9:00am on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Maple Chase Golf & Country Club and conclude on Friday afternoon with an awards presentation. Participation in this tournament will benefit Camp Hope. Camp Hope gives under-resourced kids in our community the opportunity to attend summer camp. Camp Hope is designed to build self worth, character, and a Christ centered faith in the lives of kids.

The children who attend this camp are victims of abuse and most often live in foster homes. Through this one week, children’s lives can be changed forever by seeing that a positive experience with a loving adult role model is possible, that they can succeed, and experiencing a week of relief from their current situation and experience care, love, and encouragement.

Proceeds: Camp Hope – a camp designed for under resourced and abused children in our community.

‘Clubs for Kids’ event introduces kids to golf this weekend

Mayberry Days September 26-29, 2013 Mount Airy, North Carolina

Mayberry Days is a festival for the whole family with activities and events for the fans who long for the days when life was simple and the sheriff didn’t carry a gun.
